Grading Modified or Adapted Materials
* Define a consensus statement for the
purpose of grades.
* Grade students according to
assessment of individual student goals and
objectives.
* Consider student effort as entire grade
or part of the grade.
* Set new quality standards for individual
student or students.
* Develop individualized report cards.
* Use an alternative form of assessment.
* Develop/use a rubric or multi-trait
criteria for grading.
* Use “Pass/Fail” instead of letter or
number grades.
* Develop an alternative grading scale.
* Set different criteria/percentages to
determine a passing or acceptable score.
